EPS Corporation is pleased to announce that the Board of Directors of "Einstein's Alley" unamimously approved EPS' Senior Vice President, Chief Operation officer and General Counsel John E. Gagliano Esq. joining the Board.
Einstein’s Alley is a private, non-profit economic development initiative located in Central New Jersey. The organization’s mission and goal are to foster economic growth through advocacy and delivery of services that will: attract new companies to the area, retain existing business and encourage the growth of jobs and services in order to make Central New Jersey the destination for technology companies. For years there had been efforts in this direction, but it was not until Congressman Rush Holt dubbed the program Einstein’s Alley in 2003 and met with members of the research and development, business, labor, and education communities that it began to gain momentum. The Second EPS M10 Hovercraft Commissioned at the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Border Guard Base, Aziziyah, Saudi Arabia
The second of two EPS M10 Hovercrafts was delivered by EPS Corporation of Tinton Falls, New Jersey to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Ministry of Interior Border Guard and was subsequently commissioned by the Border Guard on 8 October 2011 as “Sanafer.” Hovercraft “Sanafer”, along with Hovercraft “Alwajh”, the first American-built EPS M10 Hovercraft, will service the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Border Guard’s Eastern Region. The EPS M10 Hovercraft was featured in Composites World magazine in an article written by Jeff Sloan, Editor-in-Chief, and released on 1 December 2011.
In the article, EPS was noted as the American firm that successfully used composites to build and commission an all-composite hovercraft and place it into service with a customer. “Of all the possible applications for composites, few are better suited than a hovercraft to take advantage of the strength-to-weight benefits they promise. EPS Corporation is awarded major GSA CONNECTIONS Task Order for a network cable infrastructure installation contract supporting the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in Tucson, AZ effective 21 September 2011.
EPS has been awarded another major GSA CONNECTIONS Task Order to provide the Federal Bureau of investigation (FBI) with a new inside plant fiber optic cable infrastructure supporting the FBI’s computer networks for the Tucson Resident Agency located in Tucson, AZ. Under the management of John Tugman, President EPS Network Solutions business unit EPS will Furnish, Install, Secure and Test (FIS&T) a fiber cabling infrastructure to support approximately 1,015 work area locations that require connectivity FBI computer networks. Additionally, EPS will install Category 5E/Category 6 low voltage copper cabling to support CCTV and other physical security requirements. Total contract value is approximately $1.38M.
This is the fifth major FBI cable infrastructure project awarded to EPS. Previous awards include; Knoxville, TN - $850k - Detroit MI - $1M - Minneapolis, MN - $2.5M - Cincinnati, OH - $1.6M

EPS is proud to announce the expansion of its portfolio of marine vessels with the formation of EPS-Narwhal USA, LLC, a joint venture with Dayfer, S.L. of Mos (Pontevedra), Spain, which does business as Narwhal Inflatable Boats.
EPS-Narwhal USA will engage in the promotion, marketing and after-sales service of Narwhal professional RHIB (Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat) vessels primarily for military, life-saving and rescue, and offshore markets. Narwhal RIBs are high quality SOLAS certified marine vessels currently sold throughout the world. Utilizing EPS Corporation’s access to U.S. Government contract vehicles, EPS-Narwhal USA will bring these high-quality RHIBs to the U.S. and other international markets. The first American-built EPS M10 Hovercraft commissioned as “Al-Wajh” at the Border Guard Base, Aziziyah, Saudi Arabia.
On Wednesday 15 June 2011, the EPS M10 Hovercraft was commissioned as the “Al-Wajh.” Hovercraft Al-Wajh is the first of two to be delivered by EPS Corporation of Tinton Falls, New Jersey to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Ministry of Interior Border Guard. The Commissioning Ceremony was held at the Border Guard Base at Aziziyah. In attendance at the commissioning were the Director General of the Saudi Border Guard, St. Maj. General Zamaim J. Al-Swat, the Assistant Director General, Rear Admiral Awwad Eid Al-Balawi, EPS Chairman and CEO, Mr. Francesco A. EPS Field Services fielding team performs “… with the professionalism and dedication…
Under Subcontract to US Falcon under the Strategic Services Sourcing (S3) contract, EPS Field Services performs fielding for the US Army’s AN/TPQ-48(V)2 Lightweight Counter Mortar Radar (LCMR) system at Fort Hood, TX.
On 25 February 2011, Product Manager Radars (PM-RADARS) Team successfully completed a Fielding to HHC 1-5 CAV; HHC 1-8 CAV; HHT 4-9 CAV; HHB 3-82 FA, 2nd HBCT, 1st Calvary Division, Fort Hood TX. Assisting with this fielding were Waymer Ward and Luis Pelez from Tobyhanna Army Depot (TYAD), along with LCMR NET Trainers Boyce Pearson, and Juan Andrade from EPS Field Services. The units received classroom and hands-on training on 4 fully tested AN/TPQ-48(V) 2’s. This LCMR system incorporates the latest omni-directional radar technology providing continuous 360 degree surveillance and mortar location capability and thus counter-fires targeting. Its ability to detect and locate mortar firing positions by tracking the mortar shell to the weapon it was fired from and direct counter-fire is an important tool to protect the war fighter. EPS Corporation proudly announces the successful launch and shipment of the first EPS M10 hovercraft, the first American-built advanced composite hovercraft of its size and caliber. The EPS M10 Hovercraft, built at the company’s facilities in Titusville, Florida, was launched in late 2010 and was shipped to its final destination in early January 2011. The successful engineering, manufacturing and launching of this fully composite vessel is a historic event as it is the first of its kind to be built in America and launched in its waters. 28 September 2010 - EPS wins major IT training contract supporting U.S. Army under GSA Alliant.
EPS has been awarded a major IT training contract with a total value of approximately $70M contract to provide training support services to the US Army Communications Electronics Command Life Cycle Management Command (CECOM LCMC), Force Modernization Division (FMD), and Logistics and Readiness Center (LRC). Under this contract awarded under the GSA Alliant program in which EPS holds a prime contract position, EPS will develop and execute plans required to meet the urgent and immediate solutions supporting the Regional Hub Node, Joint Network Node (JNN), Integrated Tactical Signal Battalion, (ITSB), Tactical Radio Systems, Satellite Transportable Terminal (STT), Information Assurance training and systems under the Readiness Directorate. As the rotation of units and CONUS/OCONUS divisional realignments continue to place challenging demands on the training of personnel, EPS will continue to provide the functional services and material related to the Information Technology Tactical Training.
This Task Order (#GST0410DE0060) is incrementally funded and has a base period of performance of one year with two one-year option period. If all options are exercised, this contract will be performed from 21 September 2010 – 20 September 2013 with a total life cycle contract value of $68,989,570.

June 2010 - EPS wins IMOD Contract valued at $6,891,735 for Data Network Infrastructure required to support the relocation of the US Army Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) to Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), MD.
EPS is supporting the personnel and mission relocation from Fort Monmouth, NJ providing the new US Army C4ISR Campus Facilities at APG, MD with Data Network capabilities. Throughout the ten (10) buildings EPS will configure, install, secure, and test over 175 Brocade Layer II Switches in addition to the installation of electrical circuits to support the new equipment on the campus facility. Period of performance is June 2010 to July 31, 2011.

EPS continues to provide critical communications as prime contract holder for the upgrade to the AN/PRC-112.
With the cancellation of the proposed 2010 Air Force platform for Combat Search and Rescue (CSAR), the dependency on tried and true platforms for future CSAR replacements remains. EPS Corporation continues to provide critical communication for the CSAR Teams with the AN/PRC-112 Survival Radio, a workhorse for the last 25 years. As the prime contractor EPS upgraded the original model AN/PRC-112, to the AN/PRC-112D. The upgrade significantly reduces the power consumption of the radio, saving on costs and more importantly stretches the radio’s uptime during emergency situations. EPS awarded major GSA CONNECTIONS Task Order for telecommunications upgrades for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) with a potential value of $10 million.
EPS has been awarded a major GSA CONNECTIONS Task Order titled the Converged Communication Enhancement Project (CCEP) for the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). Under this contract, EPS will be responsible for planning, implementing and supporting new and upgraded communications infrastructure, including Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), cable plant design, Voice Communications Systems (PBX & VOIP systems), Video Teleconference/Surveillance Systems and Uninterruptible Power Systems (UPS). EPS will help USCIS/OCIO to support approximately 300 locations within the United States and its Territories. During the life of this project EPS will provide new or updated equipment at the sites directed by USCIS/OCIO. EPS will also inventory the existing telecommunications equipment to determine what equipment will be replaced or upgraded. EPS has partnered with Mission Critical Solutions (MCS) for this 5-year contract.

Under Alliant GWAC, EPS will provide federal agencies with cost-effective IT Solutions in the areas of infrastructure services, application services and management services that facilitate the development and maintenance of critical IT infrastructures required to support U.S. Government business operations, in addition to IT systems and services in support of National Security Systems. In December EPS Corporation (EPS) has announced the acquisition of full partnership interest in Vectorworks Marine LLC, manufacturer of reinforced plastic composite vessels, Titusville, FL.
The Vectorworks facilities, located on the Intracoastal Waterway, Titusville, specializes in producing state-of-the-art marine vessels for military, commercial, sport, and recreational use. Vectorworks provides its services to government agencies, commercial entities and other marine manufacturers worldwide.
EPS awarded another major GSA CONNECTIONS Task Order providing the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Telephone (PBX) System Maintenance, and effective December 24, 2008.
EPS has been awarded another major GSA CONNECTIONS Task Order providing the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), service for the Miami Telephone (PBX) System Maintenance Project in various Florida locations. Under the management of Robert Deane, President EPS Network Solutions, EPS will provide maintenance of the existing telephone system, to include but not be limited to instruments, cable plant, battery backup, system alarms and all interfaced ancillary. Services will also include telephone system security, documentation, inventory control, preventive maintenance schedule including battery backup system, and establishment of a 24/7 contact center for emergency, routine maintenance and follow-on service. EPS will be responsible for all voice cable connections and additional cable requirement, including Moves, Adds, Changes (MAC) requested by VA staff. EPS is partnering with Nortel Government Solutions for this task. This 5-year contract (base plus 4 option years) has a total contract value of approximately $1.84M.
EPS Acquires Rights to the Slingsby Advanced Composites Ltd SAH 2200 Hovercraft.
EPS has announced the purchase from Slingsby Advanced Composites Limited, Kirkbymoorside, England, a world leader in hovercraft for civilian and military amphibious applications, all rights to the intellectual property, manufacture, sale, service and maintenance of the Slingsby SAH 2200 hovercraft vessel, now renamed the EPS SAH 2200. The EPS portfolio of hovercraft vessels are constructed of non-corrosive, fiber reinforced composites. They are fully amphibious, air-cushioned craft which operate at high speeds at sea, in shallow waters and on land surfaces. EPS awarded contract by the UNITED STATES NAVAL ACADEMY (USNA) COMMUNICATIONS FIELD TECH SERVICES DIVISION Contract to support the Information Technology Services Division (ITSD) providing communications field technicians onsite at the US Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD.
EPS will provide the USNA ITSD with voice, video and data communications service and support onsite with experienced professional communications field technicians (CFT’s). The full contract objectives include but are not limited to evaluation and execution; customer account administration and documentation; copper and fiber cable and wiring routing and termination; voicemail provisioning and service; PBX switch administration and similar communications-related technical support tasks. Through this effort EPS will support the Annapolis Area Complex (AAC) enterprise information systems. This 2 year contract (base plus1 option year) has a total contract value of approximately $542K.

EPS is building the M-10 Hovercraft in the USA under a license from ABS Hovercraft Ltd. This 20-meter long sea-going amphibian is the world’s only in-service proven, fully composite amphibious craft. The M-10 is powered by two diesel engines and is capable of carrying a 10-ton disposable load. The operating and life cycle costs of the M-10 are lower than those of a comparably sized boat. 1,000th New Survival Radio Ready.
A government and industry team has reached a major milestone in keeping aircrews safe. Tobyhanna, in partnership with Engineering and Professional Services Inc. (EPS), recently completed the 1,000th AN/PRC-112D survival radio. The milestone, reached on March 24, was marked by a plaque presentation by Francesco Musorrafiti, EPS chairman and chief operating officer, to depot commander Col. Tracy Ellis on March 27. EPS is located in Tinton Falls, N.J. The PRC-112D is a new generation of the PRC radio and offers aircrews significant improvements that increase the probability of being rescued if they bail out.
