MSS-140917-SATCOM Planner


EPS Mission Support Services Division is seeking applicants to fill a SATCOM Mission Planner position, located in Panama City Beach, Florida. This position is in support of our Seaport-e Task Order supporting the Technical Engineering, Integration and Production of the Deployable Joint Command and Control (DJC2) System Information Technology and Communications equipment. This position may require travel CONUS and OCONUS in support of fielding, testing, and operation of deployed DJC2 systems. Travel will be less than 15% of the assignment.

Experience with the following is required:
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a SATCOM Mission Planner.
  • Ability to perform as the program’s primary SATCOM Mission Planner on satellite communications (SATCOM) to include: commercial and mobile satellite services (MSS), Ultra High Frequency (UHF), Super High Frequency (SHF), Very High Frequency (VHF), and Extremely High Frequency (EHF) spectrums.
  • Must be able to coordinate with Regional SATCOM Support Center (RSSC) SATCOM managers to process Satellite Access Request (SAR), and Gateway Access Request (GAR) for multiple simultaneous missions.
  • Ability to author SAR/GAR requests and forward them to the Regional SATCOM Support Center Continental United States via the online Joint Integrated Satellite Communications Tool (JIST).
  • Must be very familiar with the online Joint SATCOM Management and Planning System (JSMPS). Completion of training in this system, and operational experience entering and developing SAR/GARs using JSMPS is a must.
  • Operational experience with the following: USC-60A Flyaway Tri-Band Satellite Terminal (FTSAT), IPT Mil Suitcase satellite system (USC-68), Hawkeye III family of terminals, AN/PRC-152 Multiband Handheld Radio , Promina (NX-1000 IP Access Switch preferred), PRC-117 radios, Global Broadcast System (GBS) receivers, and Global Positioning System (GPS) receivers, IP and Enhanced Bandwidth Efficient Modem (EBEM) modems. The ability to assist with troubleshooting and mission support remotely for these systems is required.
  • Applicants selected for this position at a minimum will require an active DoD Secret clearance and background screening. Active TS/SCI Clearance is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Demonstrated experience in the areas defined above may be accepted in lieu of degree).
The following experience is highly desired:
  • Experience supporting Military deployed C2/C4 systems.
  • Operational experience with military tactical data systems and/or SHF satellite communication systems
  • Navy experience with Naval Expeditionary Combat Command (NECC) and their mission is a plus.
  • Air Force experience in Combat Communications (Combat COMM) and their mission is a plus.
  • Experience with the Joint Communications Support Element (JCSE) and their mission is a plus.

Technical Publications Writer / Editor


EPS Corporation is currently seeking a Technical Publication Writer / Editor to join our Information Management Solutions group in our Eatontown, NJ office. Duties Include:
  • Authoring and updating software manuals by collaborating with software developers and test engineers
  • Proofreading/Quality Assurance (QA) of Content
  • Development of content in using XML authoring tools and in S1000D or military specification compliant format

Experience:
  • Requires a minimum of five (5) years of experience as a technical writer of military specifications, standards, and technical manuals.
  • Experience must include original writing of technical, engineering, or scientific material requiring an understanding of the basic concepts, practices, and specialized vocabulary of the US Department of Defense.
  • Candidate must possess the ability to describe the principles, operations, and basic concepts in clear simple language.
  • Experience with S1000D and one or more of the following standards and specifications is required – MIL-STD-3001, MIL-STD-40051, ATA100/iSpec 2200.
  • Candidate must have strong organizational, verbal, and written skills.

EPS Corporation is currently seeking a proposal Production Administrator to join our Proposal Development organization in our Eatontown, NJ office. The successful candidate should be highly organized, detail oriented, proficient with Microsoft Office and able to multi-task and handle the pressure of often-tight deadlines. Must be able to manipulate and format text and graphics received from various sources. Ensures each proposal is developed in a manner that is consistent with both company format/requirements and customer requirements.

Duties Include:
  • Updates to applicable organizations
  • Distributes new opportunities documentation received from external sources
  • Assigns and distributes opportunity/bid numbers and enters data into QuickBase for tracking
  • Keeps SharePoint, QuickBase and Outlook up to date reflecting current status of proposals
  • Prepares and distributes opportunity pipeline report and calendar for weekly meeting
  • Creates meetings on Outlook as requested

Required:
  • A minimum bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or software engineering

Duties include:
  • Oversight and management of Battle Command Sustainment Support Systems, BCS3 (Battle Command Sustainment Support System), and LCOP (Logistics Common Operating Picture) for the Army’s Battle Command System

Generator Field Support Representative
