Generator Field Support Representative


EPS Corporation Field Services Division is seeking applicants to fill a Generator Field Support Representative (FSR) position for a period of one year to support our client site located in Taipei Taiwan. The FSR will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of 15kW, 30kW and 150kW generators.

Responsibilities to include conducting On-the-Job-Training (OJT) as required. Travel to outlying fires sites, as required. The FSR’s normal work week will consist of eight (8) hours a day, Monday through Friday.

Project Manager – IT Infrastructure BICSI RCDD


EPS Corporation is currently seeking an IT Infrastructure Project Manager with BICSI RCDD certification to join our Network Solution division. The primary job elements include the management of networking equipment installation to support client sites in Northern Virginia. Extensive travel required. Position would allow for telecommuting.

Required:
  • BICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer certification
  • Ability to obtain & maintain a DOD security clearance, TS preferred
  • Bachelor of Science Degree
  • 5+ years experience providing all phases of engineering support
  • Strong written and oral skills
  • IT Infrastructure Experience; ISP & OSP, Data and Voice Implementation
  • Self-starter that can work independently with minimal oversight along with a proactive service attitude and willingness to take a "hands on" approach.
  • Extensive experience managing IT installation efforts with little/no direct daily supervision.
  • Size of projects range from small to large, multi-faceted and geographically dispersed Government projects. Ability to track and manage several projects simultaneously showing attention to detail and solving problems.

Technical Publications Writer / Editor


EPS Corporation is currently seeking a Technical Publication Writer / Editor to join our Information Management Solutions group.

Duties Include:
  • Authoring and updating software manuals by collaborating with software developers and test engineers
  • Proofreading/Quality Assurance (QA) of Content
  • Development of content in using XML authoring tools and in S1000D or military specification compliant format
  • Development of content using the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Interface with customers to understand and communicate requirements
  • Conduct training on company developed technical manual acquisition and quality assurance courses
Experience:
  • Requires a minimum of five (5) years of experience as a technical writer of military specifications, standards, and technical manuals.
  • Experience must include original writing of technical, engineering, or scientific material requiring an understanding of the basic concepts, practices, and specialized vocabulary of the US Department of Defense.
  • Candidate must possess the ability to describe the principles, operations, and basic concepts in clear simple language.
  • Experience with S1000D and one or more of the following standards and specifications is required – MIL-STD-3001, MIL-STD-40051, ATA100/iSpec 2200.
  • Candidate must have strong organizational, verbal, and written skills.
  • Additional experience developing Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs), SCORM compliant Interactive Courseware, Computer Based Training (CBT) or Online Help Systems is beneficial.
Education:
  • Requires a bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, or Journalism with study in a subject matter field or combination of fields such as computer science, electronics, aircraft systems, etc., or the equivalent experience, i.e., any combination of undergraduate/graduate study/experience where two (2) years of experience in the required areas equal one (1) year of academic deficiency.

Computer Programmer / Analyst


EPS Corporation is currently seeking a JAVA Computer Programmer / Analyst to join our Information Management Solutions group.

Required:
  • A minimum bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or software engineering
  • Ten (10+) years of general experience as a computer programmer / analyst , with specialized at least five (5) years experience in programming using java
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearance as required by U.S. Federal Government; active clearance desired.
Responsibilities:
  • Candidate will be proficient with programming in Java, but also have experience with JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, etc.
  • Extensible Markup Language (XML), Extensible Style Language (XSL), XSL-T, XSL-FO, etc.
  • Modeling the processes to be automated and to design computer programs to implement those processes, specifying input and output requirements, hierarchical structure, module interface, and test requirement.
  • Performing feasibility studies and analyses of new applications.
  • Designing and modifying the storage structure and mappings between databases.
  • Documentation of software functionality and test case development.
  • Work well in team environment.
