Help Desk Technician


EPS Corporation is seeking applicants to fill a Help Desk Technician position located in the Baltimore, MD area. The Helpdesk Technician will be heavily involved with supporting many technical and administrative tasks for video broadcast and network television management. This position is contingent on contract award.

These tasks include, but are not limited to:
  • Support technicians performing on-site installations and assuring sign-off acceptance for the work. Interface with the Senior Project Engineer team for technical purposes, installation and relocation activities
  • Support the maintenance and installation activities with the field engineer at site along with the customer
  • Provide remote troubleshooting support, assuring tickets are opened in Vision and CAPRS system and assuring we meet or exceed the SLA’s we are responsible for
  • The Help Desk Technician needs to be able to understand the technology to perform successful fault isolation techniques and to be able to clearly articulate the steps that may be necessary to isolate and resolve the problem and/or be sure that the repair/replacement equipment is shipped to the site to fix the problem on the first dispatch

Network Administration Technician


EPS Mission Support Services Division is seeking applicants to fill a Network Administration Technician position, located in Panama City, Florida.

Responsible for providing on-site Deployable Joint Command and Control (DJC2) technical support at the Combatant Command (COCOM) garrison and deployed locations where DJC2 is fielded. Experience and competence with the applications/subsystems/networks, etc. in the DJC2 system or similar environment employing a Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) system.

Network Engineer


EPS Corporation is seeking applicants to fill a Network Engineer for a OCONUS opportunity located at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait with travel to other locations in the Southwest Asia Area of Responsibility. Duty hours are from 0800-1800 Monday – Saturday. Additional work may be required outside of normal duty hours based on network operational status. The successful candidate must have Brocade experience.

Duties:
  • Understands the concepts and guidelines behind traditional routing, security and data center system design. Provides internal and external guidance on key customer security issues.
  • Possesses a detailed understanding of routing protocols surrounding IP Service Provider and/or Enterprise networks including: TCP/IP fundamentals, IP sub-netting and super-netting and hierarchical routing principles, Routing protocol operation (OSPF, BGP-4), general understanding of MPLS L2 and L3 VPNs and the associated tunneling technologies (GRE, IPsec, etc.), network/router security and common/best practices.
  • Employs expert level troubleshooting methodology to isolate and identify configuration, design, and software anomalies; clearly articulates findings in written and verbal communications
  • Tracks tasking orders, operational orders, accreditation status, inspection schedules, and other time sensitive information.
  • Provides hands-on configuration and operational knowledge of vendor products and their operation (e.g. Brocade, Cisco, Juniper, etc…).
  • Provides a Critical Incident Report (CIR) for any degradation of these services to appropriate personnel IAW established Government procedures and timelines. Gather information and track outages until connectivity is restored and provide updates until systems are fully restored.
  • Receives and prepares electronic notifications to the users on all scheduled network outages.
  • Possesses the ability to troubleshoot fielded systems, test new systems/configurations in a lab environment, and actively participates in technical meetings.
  • Provides expert level relationship management, communications skills and interpersonal skills to manage face to face communications on a daily basis with multiple levels of customer management and engineering staff.
Experience/Education/Certifications/Skills:
  • 5+ years of experience building and maintaining enterprise infrastructure and communications systems in a networking environment using Brocade equipment.
  • Experienced troubleshooting in an austere network with strategic and tactical solutions.

Software / Network Support Analyst


EPS Mission Support Services Division is seeking applicants to fill a Software\Network Support Analyst position, located at our Mission Support Services Division in Panama City, Florida.

This position provides direct production, integrations and fielding support to Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (C4I) platforms. Candidate will support software integration, software development, virtual server management and network administration. Environment will include product/platform development and testing as well as product fielding and support.

Experience within the following areas is preferred:
  • Enterprise Network design, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance
  • Experience with VLAN configurations, Ports and Protocols, ACL development and maintenance

SATCOM Mission Planner


EPS Mission Support Services Division is seeking applicants to fill a SATCOM Mission Planner position, located in Panama City Beach, Florida. This position is in support of our Seaport-e Task Order supporting the Technical Engineering, Integration and Production of the Deployable Joint Command and Control (DJC2) System Information Technology and Communications equipment. This position may require travel CONUS and OCONUS in support of fielding, testing, and operation of deployed DJC2 systems. Travel will be less than 15% of the assignment.

Experience with the following is required:
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a SATCOM Mission Planner.
  • Ability to perform as the program’s primary SATCOM Mission Planner on satellite communications (SATCOM) to include: commercial and mobile satellite services (MSS), Ultra High Frequency (UHF), Super High Frequency (SHF), Very High Frequency (VHF), and Extremely High Frequency (EHF) spectrums.
  • Must be able to coordinate with Regional SATCOM Support Center (RSSC) SATCOM managers to process Satellite Access Request (SAR), and Gateway Access Request (GAR) for multiple simultaneous missions.
  • Ability to author SAR/GAR requests and forward them to the Regional SATCOM Support Center Continental United States using the online Joint Integrated Satellite Communications Tool (JIST).
  • Must be very familiar with the online Joint SATCOM Management and Planning System (JSMPS). Completion of training in this system, and operational experience entering and developing SAR/GARs using JSMPS is a must.
  • Operational experience with the following: USC-60A Flyaway Tri-Band Satellite Terminal (FTSAT), IPT Mil Suitcase satellite system (USC-68), Hawkeye III family of terminals, AN/PRC-152 Multiband Handheld Radio , Promina (NX-1000 IP Access Switch preferred), PRC-117 radios, Global Broadcast System (GBS) receivers, and Global Positioning System (GPS) receivers, IP and Enhanced Bandwidth Efficient Modem (EBEM) modems. The ability to assist with troubleshooting and mission support remotely for these systems is required.
  • Applicants selected for this position at a minimum will require an active DoD Secret clearance and background screening. Active TS/SCI Clearance is preferred.

Cable Technician


EPS Corporation is seeking qualified Cabling Technicians to install copper twisted pair, coaxial, and fiber optic cables for voice, video, and data, including vertical and horizontal cabling between telecommunications rooms and from the telecommunications rooms to the desktop at client sites. This position will require travel CONUS and OCONUS. An active Top Secret Clearance is required.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must possess a variety of complementary skill sets. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities required.

  • Experience installing cable pathway support (j-hooks, firestop sleeves, racks and cabinets, backboards, ladder rack, grounding busbars/wire, etc.) per applicable standards and codes.
  • Experience installing, terminating, and testing shielded and unshielded twisted pair, coaxial, multimode and single-mode fiber optic cabling per applicable standards and codes.
  • Must be proficient in performing visual quality control inspection of cabling work, operating copper and fiber test equipment, analyzing test results, correcting deficiencies, and presenting test results in native format.
  • Must be proficient with all related cabling tools (punch down, drills, saws, hand tools, etc.).
