Key Design Features

The EPS M-10 Hovercraft was primarily designed for military use; however, law enforcement agencies, medical emergency rescue, National Guard disaster recovery, Coast Guard patrol and surveillance, Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) interdiction, as well as Special Forces and Marines beach landings are other applications for the EPS M-10 Hovercraft.

  • Existing vessels in operation with various military and commercial customers
  • The ability to operate over virtually any terrain including water, mud flats, beaches, vegetation and ice
  • A sprint speed in excess of 50 knots
  • 10 tonne (11 ton) disposable load capability
  • Advanced composite FRP construction
  • The ability to operate in conditions up to the maximum of Sea State 4
  • A standard range of up to 500 nautical miles
  • Relatively low radar signature
  • A wide central bow ramp for loading troops’ cargo or vehicles
  • Twin diesel engine configuration for low lifecycle running costs
  • Low footprint pressure which leaves no noticeable surface signature
