Scope: Engineer and manufacture two EPS M10 Hovercraft vessels which will operate effectively at sea, in shallow water, as well as over land. Powered by two 1,000 horsepower diesel engines, equipping the vessel with lift and propulsion capable of speeds to 50+ Knots and a range of 500 nautical miles. EPS will provide spares and training for the Saudi Arabia Border Guard. The first vessel has been shipped in early January 2011.

The EPS M10 Hovercraft, built at the company’s facilities in Titusville, Florida, was launched in late 2010 and was shipped to its final destination in early January 2011. The second of two EPS M10 Hovercrafts was delivered to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Ministry of Interior Border Guard and was subsequently commissioned by the Border Guard on 8 October 2011 as “Sanafer.” Hovercraft “Sanafer”, along with Hovercraft “Alwajh”, the first American-built EPS M10 Hovercraft, will service the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Border Guard’s Eastern Region. The successful engineering, manufacturing and launching of these fully composite vessel is a historic event and the first of its kind to be built in America and launched in its waters.
