EPS is providing Headquarters, US Forces – Afghanistan (USFOR-A) with Server Administrator/SharePoint/Web Development for US Forces in Afghanistan. EPS is providing preventative maintenance; planned and unplanned maintenance; SharePoint design, operations and support; Assured File Transfer (AFT) Server oversight and maintenance; Internet Information Services (IIS) Web Server operations and maintenance; SQL Server support; Virtual Machine (VM)Ware operations and maintenance; File Server operations and maintenance; and system training. EPS supports a user base of approximately 1,400 personnel. The work is being performed at New Kabul Compound (NKC) in Kabul, Afghanistan in an area designated by the US Government as a “harsh environment”: an imminent danger zone or hostile fire zone. EPS is performing this work with one (1) on-site project manager and three (3) on-site system engineer technicians, all of whom possess SECRET (or higher) clearance. The contract has a base period of performance of one (1) year with three (3) one (1)-year options.
