Sharepoint Designer Developer

Location: Kabul, Afghanistan

EPS Corporation is currently looking for SharePoint Designers / Developers interested in a position to deploy to Kabul, Afghanistan in support of US Forces-Afghanistan providing day to day support of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2007 environment.

This position requires the ability to effectively design, plan, implement, and maintain complex MOSS and Windows 2003/2008 server environments including implementation and support of SharePoint/web/File/cross-domain servers. The SharePoint Designer/Developer must be experienced in overall server Operation & maintenance of servers. They will also assist in the design, architecture, availability, reliability, and security of future SharePoint environments. They will work closely with development staff to provide advice and support to properly implement development efforts into staging and then production. The SharePoint Designer/Developer will also work with other technical staff to train them on proper SharePoint Administration and troubleshooting techniques as well as outline standard processes and procedures for administration and development.

The sucessful candidate must be able to multi-task and work with minimal supervision in a highly charged and fast paced environment

Individual must possess an active Secret clearance

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS

  • Strong Background in server O&M
  • Previous Field experience a Plus
  • 3 yrs experience Windows Server 2003 & server design/administration
  • Experience in SharePoint with strong emphasis using MOSS 2007
DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE
  • Software Development principles, concepts, and techniques including software design concepts, test methods, and integration practices.
  • Developing solutions building Web Parts.
  • Developing a SharePoint portal site to manage all project specific documents and information Knowledge with Windows Workflow Foundation Visual Studio Tools for Office Knowledge with XSLT Knowledge with Forms Server
  • Must understand the importance of documenting their code and take advantage of the latest tools inside of Visual Studio 2008 like AJAX and other pre-built toolsets
  • Must understand the importance of security and design a site that can be locked down as required using prebuilt security measures like CAC/windows authentication
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as customer services skills. Must be able to communicate with clients at all levels
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects and changing priorities
DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD) with focus on VB.NET & ASP.NET would be a plus
  • Experienced developing web applications in; Visual Basic, Visual Studio 2008, Java Script, HTML, Classic ASP, ASP.NET
  • Certification as Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) in SharePoint 2007 Application Development and Configuration a plus
  • ASP.NET applications that read and write to a SQL backend database.
  • VMWare Server and SQL Server
  • Understanding; Data Center Power and HVAC requirements, Cable management, Hardware troubleshooting

New Equipment Training Instructor - Unmanned Ground Senior

Location: Aberdeen, MD

Instructor knowledgeable in areas relevant to Unmanned Ground Sensor program (UGS) Must be able to develop training courses and materials in support of UGS. Requires the basic familiarization of the Army’s BETSS-C, RDISS, FLIRS, and RAID systems. Must have the ability to perform operator maintenance, troubleshooting, and inspections of system components. Troubleshooting will require the individual to have the ability to articulate precise problems.

The technical training on systems currently under development will be conducted at CONUS and OCONUS locations.

  • Personnel qualifications may include documented experience with training, installation, operation, and maintenance.
  • Must be knowledgeable of and experienced in the formulation and execution of organizational training programs.
  • Experience in assessing training requirements, identify and evaluate training alternatives, develop training materials to include a variety of training approaches.
