EPS Navy Systems (EPS-Navy) was formed to provide support to the Navy, Marines, Special Forces, Coast Guard and the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA). EPS-Navy is capable of effectively managing multiple tasks CONUS and OCONUS with exceptional planning, staffing and project executions.

EPS Corporation successfully launched the first EPS M10 hovercraft, the first American-built advanced composite hovercraft of its size and caliber. The EPS M10 Hovercraft, built at the company’s facilities in Titusville, Florida, was launched in late 2010 and was shipped to its final destination in early January 2011. The second of two EPS M10 Hovercrafts was delivered to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Ministry of Interior Border Guard and was subsequently commissioned by the Border Guard on 8 October 2011 as “Sanafer.” Hovercraft “Sanafer”, along with Hovercraft “Alwajh”, the first American-built EPS M10 Hovercraft, will service the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Border Guard’s Eastern Region. The successful engineering, manufacturing and delivery of the two EPS M10 vessels establish EPS as a leader in composite technology and marine vessel integration.

Uniquely designed, the EPS M10 is constructed of non-corrosive, fiber-reinforced advanced composites which are environmentally friendly and provide significant reduction in operating, maintenance, and through-life costs. The EPS M10 Hovercraft is a fully amphibious, air-cushioned vessel that can operate effectively at sea, in shallow waters and over any land surface. It is powered by two 1,000 horsepower diesel engines which provide it with lift and the operation of its propellers, giving speeds in excess of 40 knots. The EPS M10 measures sixty eight feet in length by thirty feet of beam and has an all up weight in the region of thirty-five tons. EPS builds these crafts under a license from ABS Hovercraft Ltd.

EPS has been selected as a recipient of the “2010 Green Recognition Award” by Homeland Security Today. The “Green Secure Transportation Award” was presented to EPS for building advanced composite hovercrafts. EPS Hovercrafts fulfill the criteria required to stand out as an environmentally friendly marine vessel. EPS Hovercraft design takes green technology a step further than just the reduction of carbon emissions by the manufacturing of a marine vessel that provides a direct benefit to the environment.
