Recruiting & Retention Services
EPS-FS provides Recruiting and Retention personnel services to the Army National Guard (ARNG) during times when our military forces are facing manpower constraints fighting the Global War on Terrorism. Personnel service support is provided to the states’ Joint Force Headquarters’ Recruiting & Retention (R&R) Battalion in the areas of marketing; operations support; Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) counseling; reserve component transition; interstate transfer coordination support; administration; and supply/property management.
Services EPS-FS provides within the R&R offices for ARNG state R&R Battalions are:
- Coordinating and maintaining inter-service and inter-state transfer
- Assisting in the development and coordination of recruiter production missions in the preparation of market analysis and demographic studies
- Quality control checks on applicant accession packets
- Coordinating MEPS orientation for new soldiers
- Maintaining fiscal and logistical records to support training requirements and efforts
- Developing and implementing numerous quality control programs
- Maintaining all training calendars and evaluating all training events
- Quality control analyst for enlistment contracts
- Developing and implementing advertising programs and partnerships that support the strength maintenance mission
- Developing and distributing of promotional items
- Collecting and analyzing market evaluation data
- Designing typography layouts with photographs and illustrations
- Creating illustrations and artwork
