Government Approved Purchasing System
The successful completion of our Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR) signifies EPS as an established government contractor implementing a purchasing system approved by the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) for all Federal and commercial contracts. The DCMA-approved purchasing system limits the government’s contracting risk – particularly for Government-wide Acquisition Contracts (GWACs), Multiple Award Contracts (MACs) and other procurements where significant subcontracting is required. Additionally, advanced Government authorization is not required when awarding subcontracts on existing Federal contracts, thereby enhancing EPS’ efficiency, timeliness and position as a viable and responsive Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business.

Quality Management System (QMS)– International Organization for Standardization, ISO 9001:2008 Certified
ISO 9001:2008 certification identifies EPS as a business committed to providing quality services and solutions to our customers through the implementation of an approved Quality Management System (QMS). Quality is a top-down driven objective. Our Quality Manual, QMS, and Quality Policy work together to ensure that our customers receive quality services and solutions the first time, and every time. The paramount importance of quality is stressed at every level to ensure that managers, personnel, subcontractors and suppliers understand their responsibility for the quality of their work as well as their compliance with all statutory, regulatory and contractual requirements. EPS strives to rank as the industry leader in quality and reliability, thereby providing customers with maximum return on their investment. Our established procedures govern the performance of all internal activities. We maintain a dedicated, independent team of Quality Assurance (QA) professionals who are trained in project management and the QA discipline; this team of QA professionals provides a check and balance system to independently verify that we follow our quality procedures and processes, and the services are provided in accordance with customer requirements and associated contracts. EPS has been an ISO 9001:2008 certified company since May 2002.

Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
SAP is also the core application supporting EPS’ EVMS implementation providing a robust and integrated platform to meet the ANSI/EIA Standard 748-98 guidelines and the DoD 5000.2-R requirements.

EPS’ EVMS implementation will support the measured achievement of the cost, schedule, and performance goals of projects requiring EVM. Visibility and transparency throughout the project’s life cycle will be achieved through EPS’ EVM reporting tools and the SAP application.
